DJENI OVO EOOD (Eco Farm – 2005) was established in 2005 with the aim of building a modern farm for the production of hen eggs for consumption. In 2024, we are considered the most modern enterprise of this type in the country with a capacity for raising nearly 480,000 commercial laying hens, including 200,000 floor-reared laying hens. In our short existence, we have established ourselves as one of the leading producers of eggs for consumption in Bulgaria. We equipped our farm with the most modern facilities for raising commercial laying hens that meet all EU requirements for humane breeding. We ensure the necessary comfort of our laying hens and, together with the high-quality compound feed that we produce ourselves, consistently high quality of “Jenny” eggs for consumption is guaranteed. We have our own fleet of over 30 trucks and light trucks – refrigerated, for bulk cargo and feed. With them, we deliver raw materials and materials for the activity and transport finished products to our customers, including from/to other countries of the European Union.
A plot of land was purchased near a well-developed infrastructure near the city of Sliven, and thus the investment process began.
First production hall, center for sorting, marking, grading and packing eggs, and an administrative building. We equipped the production hall for 50,000 commercial laying hens, with the first cycle starting on 01.10.2006. Our annual production of eggs for consumption was 16,000,000 pieces.
Second production building put into operation on September 15, 2007. Our annual production increased to 32,000,000 eggs.
We built a third production hall again with a capacity of 50,000 laying hens. The annual production of our farm reached 50,000,000 per year. All buildings are air-conditioned and all processes are automated and controlled by computers.

We built a fourth production hall with a capacity of 50,000 commercial laying hens. Our annual egg production reached 62,000,000 eggs.
A farm for growing layers – pullets with a capacity of 60,000 pieces was built. At the beginning of 2012, we reconstructed the existing installation and increased the capacity to 100,000 one-day-old pullets from one batch. The production of pullets is entirely for the needs of “Eco Farm 2005” EOOD.
We built a Fifth Production Building with a capacity of 96,000 commercial laying hens (project under Measure 4.1). With this building, the total number of reared birds reached nearly 290,000 commercial laying hens and an annual production of approx. 80 million eggs.
We built our own feed mill with a capacity of 8 t/h, which fully meets our needs and reduces the cost of our production, as it has the capacity to sell feed to external customers. A silo farm has also been built to store 3,000 tons of grain. An Esit electronic scale is used at the entrance and exit.
A laboratory for the research of feed and production has been equipped, the construction of a grain storage facility has started – two silos of 1500 tons each, and the construction and equipment of an egg pasteurization plant has started.
We have put into operation a second production building in our Center for Growing Layers, with a capacity of 100,000 pcs. growing birds; Launch of sales of growing birds and ready-made feeds to external customers; We have completed the expansion of an office building. We plan future investments in increasing products and improving production processes.
In June, the construction and equipment of our Production Building 6 was completed, with a capacity to care for 100,000 laying hens in an alternative aviary system. We have expanded our range of products with eggs from hens – floor rearing with code 2BG20113. From the beginning of October 2020, you can find boxes with 10 pcs. and 6 pcs. eggs with a renewed attractive design. Look for our newest product – eggs with added organic selenium, for your even healthier diet!
To meet the challenges of the market and in accordance with regulatory requirements, we have increased our capacity for the production of eggs from floor-reared hens. In March, we put into operation a second building for aviary (floor-reared) laying hens with code 2BG20113. We continue to optimize all accompanying activities to obtain the best quality hen eggs.
